"This workshop is a one-day, 7-hour training that offers participants the opportunity to learn and apply two foundational lean leadership practices: Gemba Walks and Leader Standard Work. The morning session focuses on developing the skills needed to effectively observe processes at the source, while the afternoon session builds leader routines that sustain performance and drive continuous improvement. This workshop is specially designed for supervisors, managers, and continuous improvement professionals.
The Gemba Walk portion is a half-day session where participants learn how to go to the workplace (“Gemba”) to observe processes, engage employees, and identify opportunities for improvement. Participants will practice structured observation techniques and learn how to ask effective questions that drive problem-solving and accountability.
The Leader Standard Work portion is a half-day session focused on establishing consistent leadership routines that reinforce lean behaviors and ensure process adherence. Participants will learn how to create daily, weekly, and monthly standard work that aligns with organizational goals and supports accountability at all levels."
