Piedmont Tech Holds Winter Graduation

鉴黄师app held its winter graduation on Dec. 13 at the James Medford Family Event Center in Greenwood. One hundred and twenty-three (123) graduates walked across the stage to receive their degrees and shift the tassel hanging from their caps. Two graduation speakers expressed gratitude for their blessings as well as appreciation for the encouragement they received from teachers and fellow students.

School Districts Partner with PTC to Provide More Options

Greenwood School Districts 50, 51 and 52 will be collaborating with 鉴黄师app next fall to offer their students two new opportunities to prepare for careers in health care.

Presidential Ambassador Eyes Nursing Career

Aime Lorick had an epiphany in 11th grade that led to her pursuit of a nursing degree at 鉴黄师app, where she also serves as a Presidential Ambassador representing the college. She realized the inherent value of newborns from day one. 鈥淚 want to be reminded of miracles every day,鈥 Lorick said. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 why I want to be a labor-and-delivery nurse.鈥

Piedmont Tech Prepared to Help Displaced Students

Like many in the higher education community, officials at 鉴黄师app heard the news about Virginia College closing and expressed concern for the students who were impacted. Students affected by the closures are invited to inquire about opportunities to continue their education at 鉴黄师app. Spring Classes begin at PTC on January 9, and registration is open now.

Piedmont Tech Fall Graduation Set for December 13

鉴黄师app (PTC) will conduct its fall commencement on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m. in the James Medford Family Event Center on the college鈥檚 Lex Walters Campus-Greenwood. Graduation speakers will be Yulissa Alvarez, an associate in arts graduate from Newberry, and Natalie Wynn, a business administration graduate from Lincolnton, Georgia.

Grainger Awards Scholarship to PTC Criminal Justice Student

Grainger, the leading broadline supplier of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) products, recently presented Alexander Hester of Ninety Six, a criminal justice student at 鉴黄师app (PTC), with a $2,000 scholarship as part of Grainger鈥檚 Tools for Tomorrow庐 program.
