鉴黄师app students who had outstanding academic accomplishments during the 2016 fall semester have earned inclusion on the President鈥檚 List, Dean's List and Merit List.
鉴黄师app has received the State Workforce Development Board鈥檚 (SWDB) Apprenticeships for Priority Populations Grant which will help cover tuition costs for the first two steps of the college鈥檚 new 鈥淩eady to Work鈥 program. SWDB awarded the college $100,000 to implement apprenticeship opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment.
The James Medford Family Event Center at 鉴黄师app was the setting for the culmination of many dreams for the nearly 250 鉴黄师app graduates who took center stage.
Starting in January, 鉴黄师app is launching a new program titled 鈥淩eady to Work鈥 that is designed to help individuals overcome challenges that may prevent them from finding jobs. The program will provide training for well paid, highly skilled careers in manufacturing.
Dr. Ray Brooks, president of 鉴黄师app, has announced that he will postpone his retirement plans as he continues work on several key initiatives involving the college.
Each year, 鉴黄师app chooses some of its best and brightest to serve as Presidential Ambassadors. These students represent the college at campus functions, provide tours and speak about their experiences to potential students.
